What is Human Design?
Human Design is a practical tool that blends ancient wisdom and modern science to help you understand how your energy is designed to move through the world. It weaves together:
Astrology (the planetary influences at the moment of your birth)
The I Ching (an ancient Chinese text of 64 archetypes that mirror the gates in your chart)
The Kabbalah Tree of Life (a map of energy pathways and connections)

Manifesting Generators - The Multi-Passionate Creators
Part Generator, part Manifestor, they are designed to initiate and do! These souls are not here to stick to one lane. They thrive when they follow their curiosity, pivot quickly, and pour their energy into what excites them. Their gift is showing others that it’s not only okay but essential to do things differently.

Manifestors - The Initiators
Manifestors are the trailblazers! Here to spark new ideas, shift directions, and open new pathways for the collective. Though they don’t have consistent energy, they experience bursts of power that allow them to start movements and projects. Their role is to initiate change and then hand it off to others to carry forward.

Projectors - The Guides
Projectors are not here to hustle or “do it all”. With limited energy, they are designed to work in bursts of 3–4 hours and then rest. Projectors shine when they are recognized and invited to share their insights and wisdom, helping others use their energy more effectively. They are the light house guiding the other types on their journeys to become the highest version of themselves!

Reflectors - The Mirrors
The rarest type, Reflectors have all centers undefined, making them highly sensitive and deeply attuned to their environment. They are here to reflect the health of communities, relationships, and systems back to us. With their unique perspective, they remind us of our potential and highlight what needs to shift for true alignment. Reflectors powerfully mirror our reality back to us!
Authority: Your Inner Compass
If your type is your role in the world, your authority is your decision-making tool your body’s built-in compass for truth. We are taught to decide with our minds, but in Human Design, the mind is never the authority. Instead, your body holds wisdom about what is right for you. Diving into Human Design is a coming back to the ancient wisdom our bodies hold that we have forgotten how to tap into.
There are seven authorities (Emotional, Sacral, Splenic, Ego, G-Center, Mental/Environmental, and Lunar), each showing you how to know what’s truly aligned. Honoring your authority brings clarity, confidence, and peace — guiding you to decisions that feel right not just in the moment, but for your soul’s journey.
Centers: Defined vs. Undefined
Human Design charts include 9 energy centers, similar to chakras. On the chart these are represented by the triangles, squares and diamond shapes.
Defined centers are consistent (colored in) — your stable energy that you project out into the world.
Undefined centers are open (white) — places where you absorb, amplify, and reflect the energy around you.
Neither is better than the other; they simply show where you are here to offer wisdom (through openness) and where you carry consistent energy (through definition). Knowing your centers and the energy each one represents helps you understand your sensitivities, strengths, and potential conditioning.
Within the centers are gates and channels an even deeper layer of detail of your design.
Gates represent specific energies, like themes or gifts you carry.
Channels connect two centers, creating powerful flows of energy that shape your personality and purpose.
These are the subtle imprints of your soul, the unique frequencies you bring into the world. Exploring them deepens your self-awareness and shows you how your energy is designed to interact with others.
